Day 3: Biennale in Venezia

We took the water taxi down to Arsinale, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Great Canal. There are always a lot of boats.

we enjoyed the Biennale so much yesterday that we decided to go to another set of exhibits today. they were inside an old naval shipyard, and the space was really huge and perfect for the large artwork. This dragon was made of rubber with a cow skull for his dramatic head.

Pete is in front of a twisted steel plate sculpture that reminded us of Richard Serra pieces but without the rust.

We love gelato. I'm enjoying strawberry and Pete has pistachio. This photo is at the train station, where we're on our way north to the cycling hotel.
