Day 4: Giriamo in bicicletta al Chiostro Romanico

Today we rode from Borso del Grappa to a 13th century convent, Chiostro Romanico. It was great to be riding in Italy! The hills are often terraced with grapes grown for prosecco.

This is the courtyard at the convent, which was founded in 1286.

We are riding with 8 other North Americans, which we are enjoying as they are very friendly. And the pace of the riding is fast.

We also went out in the afternoon and explored the area on our own. We didn't get lost and we're starting to get to know the place. This is a picture of one of the many clock towers. Every town, village, and hamlet seems to have one in the main piazza. And they are scattered atop all the hills.

  1. Love the convent, love the view of the grapes.
Did you two partake of the processo?
    Salude!
